I’m Joshua Aaron Wilson, a musician, songwriter, guitarist, and recording artist from Michigan. For decades, I’ve followed songs wherever they lead—through alternative rock, psychedelia, progressive music, atmospheric instrumentals, and whatever strange place exists between them.

I’ve never been interested in staying inside one box. I love melodies, guitars, grooves, and songs—but I also love when music takes an unexpected turn and becomes something else.

The WILSON World is taking shape through a four-album Element Series:

WAV — Water

DIG — Earth

AIR — Air

BRN — Fire

These records were created across different chapters of my life. Looking back, I realized they belonged together. The music, artwork, memories, experiments, and stories are all pieces of the same larger world.

AIR is the third chapter—dreamy, psychedelic, atmospheric, sometimes progressive, sometimes purely rock. Its artwork captures the feeling: an owl watching from inside a tree, surrounded by clouds, blue landscapes, and an unfamiliar sky.

That’s how I want the music to feel:

Like discovering a place you didn’t know 

There’s no right way in.
